Production planning lived in more than forty interlinked spreadsheets maintained by three departments. We ran a four-week discovery to map the real order-to-cash and plan-to-produce flows, selected a platform against those requirements, and implemented inventory, MRP, and finance modules in staged releases. Order entry now happens once, at the source. Planning sees live material availability, and month-end closing dropped from nine days to three.
