Spreadsheets to a unified ERP in 5 months
A 120-employee components manufacturer ran production planning across 40+ Excel files. We deployed a fitted ERP with inventory, MRP, and finance modules, and migrated 8 years of historical data.
The challenge
Production planning lived in more than forty interlinked spreadsheets maintained by three departments. Orders were re-typed up to four times between sales, planning, and invoicing, and nobody could answer "what can we promise for next month?" without a two-day exercise.
Our approach
We ran a four-week discovery to map the real order-to-cash and plan-to-produce flows, selected a platform against those requirements, and implemented inventory, MRP, and finance modules in staged releases. Eight years of history were cleansed and migrated with parallel-run validation before cutover.
The result
Order entry now happens once, at the source. Planning sees live material availability, and month-end closing dropped from nine days to three. Go-live was reached in five months with no production interruption.
