A logistics group compiled monthly reports by hand from three national systems. We built a governed warehouse with automated pipelines and live dashboards for utilization, margin, and on-time delivery.
The challenge
Three national subsidiaries ran three different transport-management systems. Group reporting meant exporting CSVs, reconciling them by hand, and arguing about whose numbers were right — three days of work, every month, always out of date.
Our approach
We built automated pipelines from all three systems into a governed PostgreSQL warehouse, modelled a single set of definitions for utilization, margin, and on-time delivery, and put live dashboards on top — with drill-down from group level to individual routes.
The result
Reporting latency went from three days to live. Eighteen manual reports were retired, and for the first time the three country managers argue about operations instead of about whose spreadsheet is correct.
